Embedding ESG into every part of our business
Our framework sets out how we manage environmental, social and governance matters across our operations, aligned with stakeholder expectations and best practice.
Our Framework
Our Responsible Business framework guides how we manage climate-related risks, identify stakeholder opportunities, and uphold strong governance standards. It is embedded across all aspects of our business — from investment and development to day-to-day asset management.
Alongside our top-down framework, we also use a bottom-up approach to look at our portfolio on an asset-by-asset basis. ESG targets are set annually and reviewed at monthly Working Group meetings, which are attended by key business representatives and a Board member. These sessions ensure that progress is regularly monitored and that ESG remains fully consider within the business.
Performance is reported to the Board on a regular basis, with the Audit Committee overseeing ESG progress. Individual targets are set for Executive Directors and relevant employees, and remuneration is linked to achieving these outcomes. ESG training is also delivered throughout the year to support continuous improvement and team-wide engagement.

Our approach to Responsible Business addresses three key areas of environment, people and stakeholders and governance. The below sets out key objectives and targets for each area and the relevant UN’s SDGs (where applicable).

As part of our Responsible Business Strategy, we maintain a formal Responsible Business Policy and Environmental Policy that guide our ESG priorities and actions. Each year, we review Responsible Business targets and disclose our progress in the Responsible Business Report.
